Basic Attention Token (BAT)

The Basic Attention Token is an Ethereum-based token that can be used to obtain a variety of advertising and attention-based services on the [Brave platform](https://brave.com/cry136), a new Blockchain-based digital advertising system. User attention is privately monitored in the [Brave browser](https://brave.com/cry136) and publishers are rewarded accordingly with BATs. The largest single investment was 20,000 ETH which at the time was worth around $4.7m.
