Token Sale
The VeChain allocated 410 million VEN to the crowdsale but later burned approximately 133 million VEN as part of its token sale refund program. The sale distributed about 277 VEN, raising $20 million in the process and pricing VEN at approximately $0.072 (or 0.000240533 per ETH since the sale ran on the Ethereum blockchain). The 277 million VEN distributed via the crowdsale would equate to about 27 billion VET post-token swap. The price per token metrics here are considering VET, hence the much lower price for each subset.
